Child and Family Creative Portrait Session.
With a Creative Portrait Session By Gemma Sains, you can always expect to have something different to what other photographers offer, these sessions are mainly shot with children aged 6 years plus or family of two plus at a mixture of any ages, if children are younger than 6 I would recommend a standard portrait session.
What is a Child or family Creative portrait session?
These types of Portrait sessions mainly consist of pets and animals, I only shoot these sessions with family pets and that the children are able to handle the animals. If you require something different say as an example your child is a bookworm I can build a set that will be bespoke for your child out of giant books. If you want a family session of how the household has fun in the kitchen, I can attend your house and carry out a shoot in there.
These Creative Portrait sessions are created out of a number of images which are then carefully edited together to give you the final Portrait.
Where are the shoots held?
These photoshoots are held in a number of different locations, if it is one or more children with a family pet generally I will try to shoot at your home depending on the pet, sometimes the shoot will have to be held at my studio. I try to cause the least amount of stress to the animal so the location is discussed . If I have to build a bespoke set these sessions will be held at my studio which is located in Stratford London. With Creative Family portraits these are generally done in your home or on the grounds of your property as set building would mostly on a larger scale and it is better to use existing resources such as kitchens and bedrooms.
What do I get for the session?
Due to the type of shoot you will get 1 image that is printed at 30 inches by 40 inches mounted on a frame of your choice, you will also receive the high resolution image that matches the print for you to share on social media.
What is the process for these shoots?
Firstly fill in the contact page HERE once this is complete we will have a conversation (preferably video call or in person dependent on location) to get an idea together, if it will be with or without pets, how many children, how many adults, studio outdoor or home shoot.
Once booking fee is received I will then start the process of getting information together to style the shoot and discuss with yourself and plan in another quick chat for confirmation. once this is done we can confirm the timescale of when this shoot can be planned for, as an example if we are using your home with your daily clothing it can be booked for a couple of weeks after the phone call, if I am required to build a set or gather special clothing for the shoot it could take up to 4 weeks props depending.
we will attend the shoot location and the shoot will take between 1 - 4 hours this maybe due to complexity of the shoot, I will then plan in the editing time of the shoot and advise how long until I get the proof image over to you, once you have confirmed that no further editing is required and what frame style you would like for the Final image then final payment will be required. Your image will then be ordered and will be delivered up to 4 weeks.
What Are the Prices?
Prices for these shoots are £799 total including one digital and one large print, no additional hidden fees or charges, £99 booking fee is required to secure your booking date.
